It is time for you to try one on your own. These next verses are interesting in the light of the parallel passages in Matthew and Mark. They are interesting for a number of reasons and all of them open and laid before us. It made me think this would be a good example for me to let you test yourself on this one because it is not hard and I have given you all the information you need in what is above. Not only that but the passage is a short one and complete in itself to test yourself on. I will use this as an exercise for you to do without any more guidance from me. See what you can do to unwrap this passage and find the things that need to be found in it. I won’t give you questions to guide you as to where to look. But I will give you a slide from the Deeper Bible course which might help.
See what you can find on your own. I will look at it tomorrow. Again if you don’t have time to look at it, no problem. Just don’t look at the next Gem until you have done what you want to do with this one. May God bless and inspire you. Give it a go.
Stop asking God to bless what you’re doing. Get involved in what God is doing — because it’s already blessed.

Prayer and sinning will never live together in the same heart. Prayer will consume sin or sin will choke prayer.

If you prayed as much as you worry, you’d have nothing to worry about.
Rick Warren
When you stay in peace, the devil doesn’t know what to do with you.
